England Reach Euro 2020 Final After Dramatic Win Over Denmark
England have reached the final of Euro 2020 after a dramatic 2-1 extra-time victory over Denmark.
Harry Kane scored the winning goal in extra time after Simon Kjaer had put through his own net to cancel out Mikkel Damsgaard's stunning free-kick.
England had to come from behind after Damsgaard's early goal, but they eventually found a way through the Denmark defense. Harry Kane went close with a header, while Bukayo Saka was denied by Kasper Schmeichel before halftime.
The Three Lions continued to press after the break, and they were finally rewarded when Kjaer turned Reece James' cross into his own net. Kane then had a chance to put England ahead, but he was denied by Schmeichel.
The game went to extra time, and it was Kane who eventually popped up with the winning goal. The Tottenham striker pounced on a loose ball in the Denmark box and fired home to earn England a place in their first major final on 55 years.
England will face Italy in the final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. The two teams met in the group stage, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.
